How to reach our gem on the southern side of the Alps

The Jesacherhof hotel is situated in Defereggen Valley, in the peaceful town of St. Jakob in Defereggen Valley, right next to the lifts up to the Brunnalm, which entices you on fantastic adventures in the summer and winter!

Travelling by car to St. Jakob in Defereggen Valley

From Vienna: take the Südautobahn motorway towards Graz – Klagenfurt – Villach – Spittal, then take the Drautal main road towards Lienz – Huben – turn left into Defereggen Valley – St. Jakob in Defereggen Valley

or: take the Westautobahn motorway towards Linz – Salzburg to Bischofshofen via Zell am See, Mittersill – Felbertauern – Huben – turn right into Defereggen Valley – St. Jakob in Defereggen Valley.

From Germany: via Munich, take the motorway towards Kiefersfelden/Kufstein, exit the motorway at Kufstein Süd. Continue towards Kufstein, Kitzbühel, Mittersill, Felbertauernstraße to Huben. In Huben turn off right into Defereggen Valley. The hotel is just before St. Jakob in Defereggen Valley, right next to the Brunnalm lifts.

From Switzerland: via Feldkirch – Landeck – Innsbruck – Wörgl – St. Johann – Kitzbühel – Felbertauern – Huben –
 turn right into Defereggen Valley – St. Jakob in Defereggen Valley.

As soon as the Defereggen Valley widens it means you have to turn off to the left. Cross the Schwarzach river.

Travelling by plane on holiday to Defereggen Valley

The nearest airports are:

  • Innsbruck (180 km)
  • Salzburg (180 km)
  • Klagenfurt (190 km)

Travelling by car to St. Jakob in Defereggen Valley

The nearest train station is Lienz. We will be happy to pick you up from there for a contribution to costs charge. Please let us know what time you are arriving in good time.
