Fly fishing fascinates - independent of age and gender!

Enjoy a comprehensive introduction to fly fishing and learn the basic techniques or perfect your casting and presentation techniques. We offer a complete course programme in collaboration with our partner "Mark´s Flyfishing".

• Courses for beginners and intermediates
• The guiding principle of this course is to help you acquire an established foundation from which to exercise your favourite hobby.
• To this end you will learn casting basics for overhead and roll casts as well as simple presentation techniques.
• Furthermore, topics such as equipment and knots, insects and selection of suitable imitations will all be addressed as well as how to play fish and expert treatment of caught fish.
• You will also receive a short introduction into fly binding.

Course programm:

Day 1:

• Introduction into equipment and casting basics
• Overhead cast - practice on meadow
• Lunch break
• Afternoon
• Fishing - implementation of learned skills under supervision
• of instructor - play and treatment of fish Dinner Evening programme
• Waters and insect basics, with time planned in for shop talk and jovial get-together
   

Day 2:

• Overhead cast - further exercises on dry land
• Learn basics of roll cast
• Lunch break
• Afternoon
• Fishing - practice simple presentation techniques under supervision
• of instructor, practice roll cast, practical insect lessons and selection of
• suitable imitations at waterfront
• Dinner
• Evening programme
• Casting technique - video analysis of individual participants and fly binding,
• time for shop talk and jovial get-together

• Fishing - enhancement of learnt presentation techniques as well as
• roll cast under supervision of instructor
• Lunch break
• Afternoon
